(March 17) - Washington College junior Rachel Glasser finished sixth in the morning trials in the 500 freestyle to qualify for tonight's final at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. She set a school and Conference record in the event, touching the wall in 4:57.20. Williams' Caroline Wilson had the top time in trials in 4:50.57. Franklin & Marshall's Tom Grabiak failed to qualify for the evening swim in the 200 individual medley, placing 17th in 1:53.13.

Women's Lacrosse Release #3
(March 15) - Franklin & Marshall junior A Meredith Lussier and McDaniel senior GK Leanne Hollinger have been named the Conference's Players of the Week. Lussier scored nine goals and added two assists in a 2-0 week for the top-ranked Diplomats. She had four goals and two assists vs. Adrian and tallied five times vs. Rowan. Hollinger (pictured) turned away 13 shots in the Green Terror's 8-7 upset of #19 Stevenson.

Men's Lacrosse Release #3
(March 15) - Franklin & Marshall freshman A Tristan Miller and Muhlenberg senior defenseman Matthew Schroeder have been named the Conference's Players of the Week. Miller (pictured) scored four goals, including the first two and the game-winner, as Franklin & Marshall upset #8 Washington and Lee, 7-5. Schroeder led a defense that allowed just three even-strength goals in a 7-6 win against Washington for the Mules' first-ever win vs. the Shoremen. He registered four ground balls and caused a turnover as the 'Berg defense held Washington under 11 goals for the first time in seven meetings.

Top-Ranked Bullets Foil Fords
(March 14) - "Gettysburg got out to a quick start, then held off a Haverford rally as the top-ranked Bullets won their Centennial Conference opener with a 10-9 victory over the 14th-ranked Fords in the Centennial Conference opener for both teams at a rainy Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. The Bullets, who stayed undefeated (6-0, 1-0 CC) on the season and won their 19th straight home game, received a hat trick from senior Joe Brody, who scored three goals and dished out one assist. Sophomore Pat Sartory and senior Kyle McGrath scored two goals apiece while junior Chris Cahill had one goal and two assists."

F&M Foiled in Repeat Effort for Final Four
(March 13) - "Randolph-Macon went on an 11-2 run five minutes into the second half and never looked back, defeating Franklin & Marshall 73-65 in the NCAA Division III Elite Eight Saturday night. The Yellow Jackets scored 33 points from behind the arc while their defense limited F&M to just three points from three-point land. James McNally scored over 20 points for the third time in the NCAA playoffs this season, finishing with a team-high 22. McNally shot 9-for-15 from the floor and went 4-for-6 from the line. He added six boards and two steals. McNally finished the postseason averaging 23.5 points and 9.25 boards over four games."

Milic-Strkalj Finishes 5th in NCAA Mile
(March 13) - "Freshman Ivo Milic-Strkalj etched his name onto the long list of Haverford College track All-Americans Saturday afternoon with a fifth-place finish in the men's Mile race at the 2010 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship. Milic-Strkalj finished in a time of 4 minutes, 13.64 seconds. Event titlist Will Yochum of Amherst College clocked a 4:09.99 which is the fastest time run in the mile in all of D-III this season."

Faust Takes 6th in NCAA Pole Vault
(March 13) - "The trip to Greencastle, Ind., for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships wasn't the smoothest for Alex Faust and the rest of the Muhlenberg travel party. After flying from Allentown to Detroit, the Mules had to endure more than three hours of delays before their plane took off for Indianapolis. At the meet, however, Faust had no trouble getting off the ground. Faust cleared 12-4 in the pole vault to tie for sixth place, earning All-America honors for the second time in her career."

Mules Shock Shoremen in Overtime
(March 13) - "With heavy rain pouring and wind swirling, the Muhlenberg men's lacrosse team washed away Washington for the first time in program history in thrilling fashion. The Mules played their fourth straight one-goal game to open the season, beating the Shoremen in overtime, 7-6, for their first defeat of the perennial powers in eight tries."
