Ethan Lee Tyson Player of the week Haverford sophomore outfielder Ethan Lee-Tyson has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week, the conference office announced in a release on Monday afternoon. Lee-Tyson takes the award after an outstanding 4-1 week that solidified a trip to the postseason for the Fords. Lee-Tyson hit .476 on the week as the Fords qualified for the Centennial Conference playoffs for the 10th straight season.
Timmy Pilrun Pitcher of the Week Junior Timmy Pilrun of the Muhlenberg baseball team was named Centennial Conference pitcher of the week. Pilrun pitched a complete-game five-hitter in the Mules' 3-1 win at Ursinus. He walked two and struck out seven against a Bear lineup that leads the CC with a .319 team batting average. Pilrun retired 16 of the final 20 hitters he faced in tossing his second consecutive complete game.
