Johns Hopkins 141 Paul Marcello finished one point shy of a gold medal at the NCAA Division III championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Zach Thomson finished third, while Brandon Jones and Joey Favia finished fifth. Chris Donaldson placed sixth.

Four Advance to NCAA Semifinals
Five Centennial Conference wrestlers are still alive after the first day of the NCAA Division III championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 125 Christopher Donaldson, 133 Brandon Jones, 141 Paul Marcello and 165 Joey Favia reached the semifinals, while 174 Zach Thomson remains alive in the consolation round.

Five Win Regional Titles; 11 Bound for NCAA Tourney
Five Centennial Conference wrestlers won championships at the NCAA East Regionals at Gettysburg on Saturday. The CC is sending 11 grapplers to the NCAA Division III tournament in Iowa in two weeks.

Gettysburg Hosts NCAA Wrestling East Regional
Bream Gymnasium will be a busy venue this Saturday when 17 wrestling teams stroll through the doors for the NCAA Division III East Regional. The event will be the only opportunity individuals will have to earn a place in the NCAA Championships.

Johns Hopkins' Paul Bewak Named Wrestler of the Year
Johns Hopkins sophomore 125 Paul Bewak was selected as the Centennial Conference Wrestler of the Year in balloting by the Conference's nine head coaches. McDaniel freshman 133 Ryan O'Boyle was named the Rookie of the Year.

Ursinus Captures 10th CC Mat Title
Ursinus captured its 10th Centennial Conference wrestling championship by edging runner-up Johns Hopkins, 113-98. Blue Jay senior Paul Marcello became just the fifth wrestler in Centennial history to win four titles.
