Offensive Player of the Week

Nicole Hill, Fr, McDaniel

Hill scored the first and last goal of a 3-2 win at Juniata on Saturday.

 

Defensive Player of the Week 

Eliza Gray, So, GK, Gettysburg

Gray recorded a pair of shutouts in goal in a 1-0-1 week for the Bullets. She played the first 75:48 of a 4-0 win over Susquehanna on Oct. 2. Stopped all seven shots in a scoreless draw with Swarthmore on Oct. 5. Gray leads the CC in GAA (0.36) and save percentage (.886).


 

Notebook:

Sophomore Lauren Schapiro tallied three points in a 1-0-1 week for the Bullets. She scored a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Susquehanna on Oct. 2. Shapiro tallied two shots in a scoreless draw with Swarthmore on Oct. 5.

Junior goalkeeper Robin Chernow completed an un-scored upon 1-0-1 week for the Fords making a total of 6 saves in 200 minutes of action to keep Moravian and F&M off the scoreboard.

In a week of scoreless ties in the CC, freshman Abby Lazofsky prevented another one when she scored in the 60th minute to give Muhlenberg a 1-0 win against Washington. She also scored a goal in a non-conference loss to DeSales. The two scores came on Lazofsky's only two shots of the week.

Sophomore goalkeeper Reba Magier helped Swarthmore stay undefeated at home this season by making nine saves in a 0-0 tie with Gettysburg. She also helped the Garnet post its fourth consecutive shutout at home this fall.
