Urisnus' Sorelle Named Player of the Week

Women’s Tennis Player of the Week - March 13, 2017

Sorelle won all 10 of her matches (five singles, five doubles) during the Bears' spring break trip to Florida, with all five singles victories coming in straight sets. Sorelle is 17-1 this season, including a perfect 10-0 mark with junior Ariel Danizger at number two doubles. Sorelle is 12-0 in dual matches and is on a 16-match winning streak.

Women's Tennis Co-Players of the Week - March 6, 2017

Greta Koch, Jr, Haverford
Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing

Greta Koch won at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Alvernia University in the Fords' first match in Florida. Koch defeated the Crusaders' Cassandra Noray by a 6-3, 7-5 score. In doubles, she and teammate Abby Payson conceded just three games to the Alvernia pairing of Noray and Amanda Philips.

Julie Lazer, Jr, Washington College
Owings Mills, Md./McDonogh School

Lazer won at both No. 1 singles and doubles in the #40 Shorewomen's season opening 7-2 win over St. Mary's on Saturday. She teamed with Rachel Martinez for an 8-0 win in doubles over Marissa Romanek and Melissa Barall. In singles, Lazer posted a 6-2, 6-4, win over Barall.
