Dickinson clinched the top seed while Gettysburg claimed the second seed and the other first round bye as Centennial Conference regular season action wrapped up on Friday and Saturday.
In a battle for the top tournament seed on Friday night, visiting Dickinson edged Muhlenberg 1-0 to secure the No. 1 seed and home field advantage in the CC men's soccer playoffs. The Red Devils (11-0-7, 5-0-4 CC) will host one of the two semifinals on Friday night in Carlisle. The loss dropped the Mules (8-2-8, 3-2-4 CC) to the sixth seed.
In the final regular season matchup of the year with the final playoff spot at stake, Gettysburg downed Washington College 4-0 to earn the No. 2 seed and a first round bye. The Bullets (10-5-3, 4-2-3 CC) will host the highest remaining seed among the first round winners on Friday.
Muhlenberg will travel to third-seeded Haverford (10-0-9, 3-0-6 CC) for Tuesday's first round. The Fords closed out the regular season in dramatic fashion, defeating Swarthmore 1-0 on goal late in regulation.
Tuesday's other first round matchup will feature fifth-seeded McDaniel (9-4-4, 3-2-4 CC) at fourth-seeded Johns Hopkins (6-6-6, 4-2-3 CC). The Green Terror and Blue Jays both secured wins to wrap up the regular season. Needing a win and some help to reach the playoffs, the Green Terror downed F&M 1-0 to earn the fifth seed. The Blue Jays blanked Ursinus 1-0 on Friday night.
The highest remaining seed following Friday's semifinals will host Sunday's championship game.
