LANCASTER, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins swept top honors on the 2026 All-Centennial Men's Cross Country Team. Sophomore Caleb Tenney garnered Runner of the Year accolades, freshman Edward Stout was named Rookie of the Year and the Hopkins coaching staff was tabbed as Coaching Staff of the Year.

Tenney earned Runner of the Year honors following a championship performance at the CC meet last Saturday at Haverford. Tenney crossed the finish line in 24:20 to become the third Hopkins runner to claim gold at the CC meet, joining Emmanuel Leblond (3-time champion) and Jared Pangallozzi in that elite club. It marked Tenney's first individual win of the year. Other top performances throughout the season included a ninth-place finish at the D3 Pre-National Invitational that featured 328 competitors and some of the top teams in the nation, in addition to a 15th-place finish at the Virginia Invitational against Division I runners.

Stout was chosen as Rookie of the Year after collecting a bronze medal at the CC championship and being the only freshman to earn first team honors. Stout is one of 11 freshmen in CC history to secure first team All-CC laurels with a top-seven placing at the championship. He is the third-straight and ninth overall Blue Jay to win Rookie of the Year in the 14-year history of the award.

The Johns Hopkins coaching staff was tabbed by its peers as Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the Blue Jays to their fifth consecutive CC crown. Head coach Bobby Van Allen and assistants Cullen Doody, Grace Hadley, Nikhil Bagchi and Casey Comber were honored.

Hopkins grabbed five of the seven All-CC first team slots as Tenney and Stout were joined by teammates Brady Ott, Cedar Nichols-Barnhart and Anthony Clark. Ott was the runner-up and claimed all-conference honors for the third time in his career. The 2024 Rookie of the Year, Ott was a first-teamer in 2024 and a second-teamer in 2025. Clark was the 2025 Rookie of the Year and repeated as a first team runner, while Nichols-Barnhart earned All-CC recognition for the first time.

Haverford's Simon Lane and Owen Bluman were also first team honorees with top-seven placings at the CC meet. Lane was a repeat first-team award winnner while Bluman claimed all-star honors for the first time in his career.

Swarthmore's Cohen Manges concluded his Centennial career as a four-time second-team honoree. Also on the second team with top-14 placings were Haverford's Luke de Valpine, Cole Branstrom and Ezra Kleinbaum, JHU's Dane Spahr and Henry Zhe-Heimerman, and Dickinson's Luke Knestout.
