In the spring of 2018, the two conferences voted and approved an additional bowl game to increase the series to three games beginning in the fall of 2018. The Centennial-MAC Bowl Series is comprised of the top-three teams from each conference that are not selected to the NCAA Division III Championship. Each year, the Centennial Conference's top seed will host the MAC's No. 2 seed, and the MAC's top seed will host the Centennial Conference's No. 2 seed. The two conference's No. 3 seeded teams will face each season, with the MAC hosting in even years and the Centennial hosting in odd years. This season (2023), the bowl games are scheduled for Saturday, November 18. The Centennial will have hosting duties for the No. 3 vs. No. 3 bowl game. SPECIAL OLYMPICS The two conferences will continue to support the NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) partnership with Special Olympics by donating a portion of the proceeds generated during the Bowl Series to the organization. Giving back to local and regional communities not only adds to the comprehensive learning component of Division III, but also provides a venue for passion and service.
