The 2024 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships are set for Saturday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25 at Schnader Fieldhouse on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College. The two-day event will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday and continue through Sunday afternoon with 19 events to be held for both the men and women. 

Johns Hopkins is once again the favorite to hoist CC hardware this weekend, as the Blue Jays enter the indoor meet with a 12-year winning streak and are ranked sixth in the nation by the USTFCCCA. The Blue Jays compiled 291 points on their way to the second-highest margin of victory in championship history last winter.  

The last team other than JHU to claim the Centennial women's indoor championship was Haverford in 2010. In the 29-year history of the event, Hopkins (12) holds the most team titles, followed by Dickinson (7), Haverford (6), Swarthmore (2) and Gettysburg (2). 

Hopkins is also the top ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic region, while Dickinson (4), Ursinus (6) and Swarthmore (10) are also among the top-10 teams in their respective regions entering this weekend. 

Two conference records have fallen so far this winter. Johns Hopkins' Lauren Phillips set a new 300-meter mark of 41.15 seconds on Dec. 2, while teammate Victoria Kadiri broke the pentathlon record with 3,610 points on Jan. 26. Phillips and Kadiri hold a combined eight CC indoor records while Kadiri owns three championship records.The duo are the reigning CC Indoor Track and Field Indoor Athletes will look to add to their already-impressive resumes this weekened. 

Phillips and Kadiri are two of five returning individual champions spanning seven events. Kadiri will look to three-peat in the 60-meter dash and long jump and repeat in the 60 hurdles and triple jump. Kadiri is the two-time defending national champion in the long jump and the defending national champion in the triple jump. Showcasing her all-around abilities, the senior is also slated to compete in the shot put and high jump this weekend. Phillips was the 2022 champion in the 200, while Dickinson's Sara Penuela is also back after winning gold in the 200 in 2023

Gettysburg's Lillian Boudreau will look to replicate her gold-medal performance in the 400, as will Swarthmore's Hannah Swale in the pentathlon.
