Centennial Conference Reveals Top Play of the Year Bracket

Vote for the top play of the year on Instagram (@centennialconf) over the next few weeks

LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Centennial Conference has announced the field for the 2023-24 CC Top Play of the Year Challenge, beginning with the opening round of 32 during the week of July 22. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite plays of the 2023-24 campaign on the Centennial's Instagram page - @CentennialConf. 

This marks the third time the conference has conducted a CC Top Play of the Year Challenge. Plays were chosen from the weekly #CCTopPlays highlight segment produced throughout the year. 

The round of 32 features four plays in eight pods against each other. One play from each of the eight pods that receives the most fan votes will advance to the quarterfinal round. The round of 32 will take place from July 23-26, with voting for each pod being active for a 48-hour period. 

The quarterfinals will begin on July 29 and run through August 1. The semifinal round will take place from August 5 through August 7, with the top two plays set to face off between August 9 and August 11. The Top Play of the Year winner will be announced on August 12. 

Winners of each round will be announced on the @CentennialConf Instagram following the conclusion of voting for each round.

CC Top Play of the Year Challenge Timeline

  • Round of 32 - July 23-26 | 48-hour voting period for each of the eight pods
  • Quarterfinals - July 29-August 1 | 48-hour voting period for each quarterfinal matchup
  • Semifinals - August 5-7 | 48-hour voting period for each semifinal matchup
  • Championship - August 9-11 | 72-hour voting period 
  • CC Top Play of the Year will be announced Monday, August 12
