GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins secured its fourth title in a row and Emmanuel Leblond won his third straight individual crown at the Centennial Conference men's cross country championship on Saturday at Gettysburg College.
Hopkins secured the top three placings and eight of the top 10 en route to a dominant team victory with 19 points. The Blue Jays have now won four straight and six overall CC titles. The 19-point total matched JHU's score from the 2024 championship and was tied for the fifth-lowest in CC history. Haverford (66) finished as the runner-ups while Swarthmore (77), Dickinson (93) and Gettysburg (174) finished in the top five.
Leblond won the individual title for the third year in a row, becoming the second runner in CC history to win the individual title three times. The JHU senior completed the 8k course in 24:13.70, the fastest 8k time in CC championship history. Former Haverford standout Karl Paranya is the only other CC runner to have accomplished that feat, having done so in 1994-95-96 for the Fords.
JHU's Anthony Clark (24:22.40) and Kenny Wanlass (24:27.20) completed a top-three sweep for the Blue Jays, while the Haverford duo of Simon Lane (24:31.10) and Micah Lachman (24:35.90) also posted top-five finishes.
Olaf Dietz (24:36.70) and Connor Oiler (24:41.50) rounded out the All-Centennial first team honorees in sixth and seventh place, respectively, while teammates Rowan Cassidy (24:45.90), Brady Ott (24:46.30) and Caleb Tanney (24:46.90) crossed in the top-10.
Swarthmore's Cohen Manges took 11th with a time of 24:48.40. Also earning second team All-CC honors with top-14 placings were JHU's Nash Minor (24:48.50), Dickinson's Nathan Caldwell (24:55.00) and McDaniel's Jack Sears (24:56.70).
