LANCASTER, Pa. -- Swarthmore's Michael Melnikov was named Player of the Year for the third straight season to lead the 2025 All-Centennial Men's Tennis Team. Washington College's Sihoo Kim and the Swarthmore coaching staff picked up the other major honors on the squad.
Melnikov three-peated as Player of the Year to become just the third player in Centennial history to win the award three times. The other two three-time Players of the Year in CC history are Washington College's Jose Lejarraga (2000-01-02) and Arturo Solis (2005-06-07). The junior has put together another superb campaign for the CC-champion Garnet, compiling a 22-5 overall singles mark and a 20-6 record in doubles, both exclusively from the No. 1 position.
Kim was named Rookie of the Year, marking the first time a Washington College player has received that honor in the 12-year history of the award. Kim owns a 13-9 overall singles record and a 15-8 overall doubles record playing at No. 1 singles and primarily at No. 1 doubles. He was also named to the All-CC first team in both singles and doubles.
The Swarthmore coaching staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year for the third year in a row. Head coach Jason Box and assistants Brian Kane, Marc Fisicaro, Davis Elkins and Mark Fallati helped lead the Garnet to their third straight CC title, a 15-6 overall record and a perfect 7-0 mark against CC teams.
A total of 12 players earned All-Centennial honors for at least the second time, led by Gettysburg's Mikey Fellman, now a four-time all-star.
Swarthmore led the way with six players on the All-CC team, followed by Haverford (5), F&M (4), Washington College (3), Gettysburg (2), Dickinson (1) and Muhlenberg (1).
