Casanta, Crabb & Mahathep Receive Centennial Golf Awards

Casanta led the Bullets to a second-place finish at the Northeast Elite on Sunday and Monday. He posted a career-low round of four-under 67 on Monday to finish with an even-par 36-hole total of 142 and place tied for second overall in the field of 90 golfers. Casanta posted a round of 75 in the opening round and registered nine birdies over the two days.

Crabb tied for second place at the Northeast Elite with a new 36-hole career-best, leading McDaniel to a third-place team finish at Williamsport Country Club. He posted rounds of three-under 68 and three-over 74 for a 36-hole total of 142. His 68 was a career low and he totaled 19 pars and nine birdies throughout the tournament. His previous 36-hole best was 144 set in the Transy Fall Invite on Sept. 1, 2024.
Women's Golf Athlete of the Week
Punchy Mahathep, Fr., Marymount

Mahathep had a historic outing at the Cardinal Fall Classic, posting the second-lowest single-round score in Centennial history en route to a second-place finish in a field of 49 golfers. Mahethep opened the two-day, 36-hole tournament with a two-under 70 at Black Rock Golf Course, which trails only the three-under 69 recorded by teammate Kate Parsons earlier this fall in the CC record book. The freshman followed up that round with a five-over 77 to finish at 147 (+3), helping the Saints win the team title among the nine competing squads.
