Women's Tennis Seeds Finalized; Swarthmore Nabs Top Seed

Swarthmore clinched the top seed in thhe Centennial Conference women's tennis championship for the second straight season with a perfect 8-0 conference mark. The Garnet defeated Washington College 7-0 on Saturday to wrap up the conference regular season. 

Swarthmore (13-5, 8-0 CC) will host the winner of the first round matchup in Thursday's semifinals. The 4v5 match to open the tournament will feature fourth-seeded Dickinson (12-8, 5-3 CC) hosting fifth-seeded Washington College (11-9, 4-4 CC) on Tuesday in Carlisle. The winner will travel to Swarthmore on Thursday. 

Thursday's other semifinal pits No. 3 Franklin & Marshall (8-8, 5-2 CC) at No. 2 Haverford (10-10, 7-1 CC). F&M wraps up its conference regular season today at Ursinus in a matchup that does not impact playoff seeding. 

The two semifinal winners will meet at the highest remaining seed for the championship on Saturday. 

Match times will be finalized Monday morning.
