Gettysburg's Laczkowski, Swarthmore's Goldberg Receive Top Honors on 2026 All-CC Softball Team

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Gettysburg's Renee Laczkowski and Swarthmore's Lilly Goldberg received Player and Pitcher of the Year honors, respectively, to highlight the 2026 All-Centennial Softball Team. Muhlenberg's Eden Clark, Haverford's Kyra Van Denburgh and the Muhlenberg coaching staff also garnered major awards.

Laczkowski, a sophomore third baseman for the Bullets, was named Player of the Year. She is the seventh Gettysburg player to earn CC Player of the Year accolades. Laczkowski was near the top of the Centennial in most statistical categories this year, leading the conference in RBIs (42), total bases (85), doubles (12) and sacrifice flies (4), ranking second in slugging percentage (.639), third in batting average (.429) and hits (57), fourth in home runs (4), eighth in on-base percentage (.474) and 10th in runs scored (32).

Goldberg, a sophomore pitcher for the Garnet, was tabbed as Pitcher of the Year following a dominant season on the rubber. Goldberg leads the CC in ERA (1.09), wins (18), innings pitched (141.2), ranks second in strikeouts (98) and third in opponent batting average (.201). Her 18 wins are four more than the second-best total in the conference and her 141.2 innings pitched is nearly 30 more innings than second place. She owns an 18-3 overall record with 16 complete-game outings through 22 starts and has walked just 33 batters. Goldberg is the second Swarthmore pitcher to receive the conference's top pitcher award, joining Meg Ozawa (2022). She was the CC Rookie of the Year in 2025.

Clark, a freshman pitcher of the Mules, was named Rookie of the Year to become the first Mule to claim the honor in its 13-year history. Clark made an immediate impact for Muhlenberg this season, leading the conference in strikeouts (133) and opponents batting average (.182), rankings second in wins (14) and fourth in ERA (2.31) and wins (14). She boasts a 14-5 overall record with five complete games through 14 starts. Clark joined Goldberg on the All-CC first team.

Van Denburgh, a junior shortstop for the Fords, was selected as Gold Glove of the Year as the conference's top defensive player. Also an honorable mention All-CC pick, Van Denburgh recorded a .929 fielding percentage with 52 putouts, 92 assists and 11 errors on the season. She is the second Haverford player to collect top defensive accolades in the eight-year history along with Kaila Uyeda (2022).

The Muhlenberg coaching staff was chosen as Coaching Staff of the Year. Head coach Sarah Leavenworth and assistants Maddisen Bieber, Jean Buskirk and Lee Maulorico have led the Mules to a program-record 32-11 overall record, a 12-4 mark in CC play and the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

Ten players secured All-Centennial laurels for at least the second time in their careers, led by Swarthmore senior outfielder Iris Barone, who becomes a four-time all-star. Three-time honorees include Gettysburg junior outfielder Audrey Bergan, Swarthmore senior pitcher Lane Barron, Washington College senior first baseman Jenna Harper, and Dickinson senior outfielder Jane Lloyd

McDaniel leads all teams with 67 All-Centennial first-team selections, followed by Gettysburg (66), Ursinus (62), Muhlenberg (47), Washington College (41), Dickinson (29), Haverford (29),  Franklin & Marshall (26) and Swarthmore (20).
