LANCASTER, Pa. -- Centennial Conference weekly honors have been distributed for week two of the fall 2026 season, spanning Sept. 7-13.
Elizabeth Cella of Haverford volleyball leads this week's honorees as the first repeat weekly award winner of the 2026-27 academic year.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Athlete of the Week
Nathan Caldwell, Sr., Dickinson
Ringwood, N.J. | Lakeland Regional
Caldwell led the Red Devils to the team title in the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational 4,000 meter race, placing second overall. The senior raced to a time of 12:19.1 to finish as the runner-up among the 115 competitors. The Red Devils totaled 21 points to earn the team crown, finishing atop a field of 17 teams.

Athlete of the Week
Maren Blanks, Fr., Franklin & Marshall
Towson, Md. | George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology
Blanks was the top collegiate finisher (placing second overall) on the 4,000 meter course at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational with a time of 14:50.1. Blanks led the Diplomats to a second-place team finish.

Offensive Player of the Week
Marie Brainard, Sr., M/F, Ursinus
Wilmington, Del. | Charter School of Wilmington
Brainard totaled nine points to lead Ursinus to a perfect 2-0 week. On Wednesday, Brainard tallied the game's first two goals before earning an assist on the Bears' final tally in a 5-2 victory over DeSales. Against 17th-ranked Lynchburg on Saturday, Brainard scored twice in the first half to give Ursinus a 2-1 victory. She has scored in every game this season for Ursinus and leads the Centennial with three game-winning goals.
Defensive Player of the Week
Charlotte Schurman, Sr., GK, Washington College
Manchester Md. | Manchester Valley
Schurman stopped 20 shots and had a .909 save percentage in a pair of games last week. On Wednesday at third-ranked Salisbury, the senior netminder turned away 14 shots, one off of her career-high. In Saturday's 1-0 victory against visiting Susquehanna, Schurman stopped six shots, including a save with 51 seconds to preserve the lead and shutout.

Olson led McDaniel in scoring with nine points on three goals and three assists last week as the Green Terror went 2-0-1 to remain unbeaten and extend their regular season home unbeaten streak to seven. He scored the game-winning goal in both wins and had a hand in six of the team's nine goals. Olson opened the week with a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Albright before tallying two goals and an assist in a 6-2 triumph over Penn State Altoona. He currently leads the Centennial Conference in points and game-winning goals while ranking second in assists and third in goals.

Benson anchored the Haverford defense during a 2-0 week, posting back-to-back clean sheets as the Fords extended their unbeaten streak to 25 consecutive matches, the longest active unbeaten streak in NCAA Division III men’s soccer. Benson played all 180 minutes in goal without conceding a goal, making one save in a 4-0 shutout of Penn State Abington on Tuesday before stopping the lone shot on goal he faced in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Susquehanna. The junior has now recorded three consecutive clean sheets for the Fords and has not allowed a goal over his last 270 minutes in net.

DiGregorio recorded a hat trick in her first career start to help keep Muhlenberg undefeated with a 4-1 win against Neumann. She scored her goals in the seventh, 61st, and 67th minutes, notching the first hat trick by a Mule since 2021, and the first by a Mule freshman since 2008. DiGregorio also assisted on the game-tying goal early in the second half of a 2-2 draw at Moravian.

San Diego, Calif. | San Dieguito Academy
Kruntchev helped the Blue Jays to a 1-0-2 week with a pair of shutouts, including a 0-0 tie at fifth-ranked Messiah. Kruntchev posted five saves in the tie against the Falcons, added three saves in a 1-1 tie at Denison and then had a pair of saves in a 3-0 win at Kenyon. For the week, Kruntchev had a 0.33 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.

Cella repeated as Offensive Player of the Week after hitting .483 across a pair of straight-set victories for the Fords. The sophomore opened Saturday’s tri-match with 18 kills on a .455 hitting percentage in a sweep of Cairn. Cella followed with 16 kills on a season-best .519 hitting percentage while adding a service ace against Lebanon Valley, helping the Fords complete another 3-0 victory. Across six sets, Cella averaged 5.67 kills per set while hitting better than .450 in both matches.
Defensive Player of the Week
Bethany Haughton, So., MH, Washington College
Lansdowne, Pa. | Springside Chestnut Hill Academy
Haughton averaged 1.42 blocks per set in two matches this week. In Wednesday's four-setter at Arcadia, Haughton had five blocks to set a career-best. On Saturday in a three-set sweep of Penn State Brandywine, the sophomore matched her career-high with five blocks.
