Hopkins & F&M to Represent CC in NCAA Postseason

NCAA Bracket

Centennial champion Johns Hopkins and runner-up Franklin & Marshall received bids to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament as announced by the national office on Monday afternoon. This marks the fifth straight season and 12th time overall that the CC has qualified multiple teams for the NCAA Tournament.

Hopkins earned the CC automatic bid for the ninth straight year with a 3-1 victory over F&M in last Sunday's championship match, while F&M secured an at-large berth into the field of 64.

Ninth-ranked Johns Hopkins was selected to host one of the eight regionals for the third straight year. This marks the 12th time Hopkins has appeared in the NCAA Tournament dating back to 2011, with the Blue Jays holding a 22-10 record in regional games. Hopkins will open against Stevenson (18-13), which secured the MAC Commonwealth title on Thursday at 7 p.m.

F&M secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament field for the second straight season and 11th time in program history. The Diplomats (22-6) will travel to Cambridge, Mass. for a regional on the campus of MIT and will square off against Williams (19-7) in the first round on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
