Johns Hopkins clinched the top seed for the sixth straight season while Franklin & Marshall topped Swarthmore in a battle for the No. 2 seed on the final day of the CC volleyball regular season on Saturday.
Five of the six postseason bids were already clinched heading into Saturday's action, but none of the seeds had been finalized yet. Dickinson claimed the sixth and final playoff spot with a 3-0 triumph over Washington College, sending the Red Devils to the CC postseason for the first time since 2022.
Seeds to the six-team tournament are set with conference play now complete:
No. 1 - Johns Hopkins
No. 2 - Franklin & Marshall
No. 3 - Haverford
No. 4 - Swarthmore
No. 5 - Gettysburg
No. 6 - Dickinson
Hopkins came into Saturday's regular season finale needing a win or an F&M loss to clinch the top seed. The Blue Jays swept past Muhlenberg 3-0 to secure the top seed and home court advantage throughout the postseason. JHU will host one of the two semifinals on Friday at Goldfarb Gym.
The F&M/Swarthmore match was the marquee showdown of the day, with the winner set to earn the No. 2 seed. The Diplomats came out on top on the road, 3-1, to secure a first round bye. F&M will host the higher-seeded first round winner in Friday's semifinals at Mayser Gymnasium.
Haverford had a bye in conference play on Saturday and posted a pair of non-conference victories over York (Pa.) and Misericordia. The Fords moved up to the third seed based on the Swarthmore loss to F&M. Haverford, Swarthmore and Gettysburg each concluded conference play with identical 7-3 records, and the Fords won the tiebreaker based on its victory over top-seeded Hopkins. Gettysburg closed out its regular season with a 3-0 sweep over Bryn Mawr.
Haverford will host Dickinson and Swarthmore will host Gettysburg in Wednesday's first round matchups.
Sunday's championship will be hosted by the highest remaining seed, with the winner earning the CC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
