A new team champion will be crowned in Centennial Conference women's tennis for the first time since 2006, as 17-time defending champion Johns Hopkins has departed the conference to compete as an independent.
It's likely no surprise that three-time defending runner-up Swarthmore was the overwhelming choice among Centennial head coaches to take over the top spot in the CC this spring. The Garnet return the lone All-American in the conference and a CC-leading four all-conference honorees to the court in 2025. Senior Nathalie Williams earned All-America singles status back in 2023 and teamed up with Erica Stutz to compete in the national doubles tournament last spring. Williams and Kathleen Shiffer are back as two-time All-Centennial performers for the Garnet. Lola Diaz secured first team honors in both singles and doubles in 2024 while Ella Strickler was an honorable mention singles pick.
Six CC squads welcome back at least one All-Centennial player, with a total of 13 all-stars back on the court this spring. Other returning All-Centennial performers include F&M's trio of Mackenzie Sherman, Jenna Harrison and Sophia Rhazali, Bryn Mawr's Fernanda Hurtado and Sophie Fenster, Gettysburg's Avery Palandjian and Sarah Guistwite, Haverford's Rachael Fitzgerald and Ursinus' Allie Armour.
