Eleventh-ranked Dickinson downed ninth-ranked Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 11-9 while 10th-ranked Gettysburg fell to top-ranked Tufts 17-8 in the NCAA quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon. Dickinson advances to the Final Four for the first time in program history with the victory.
In Rochester, N.Y., Dickinson continued its historic run on Saturday with hat tricks from both Ramsey Huggins and Landen Hyatt en route to an 11-9 win over the ninth-ranked Engineers from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Divison III Tournament at Tiger Stadium on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology. With the win, the Red and White advance to Sunday's semifinal for the first time in program history to take on the host and third-ranked Tigers of RIT on Sunday at 5 p.m.
Dickinson (16-5) will attempt to add another rung to the historical season on Sunday evening when they battle the host RIT Tigers with a spot in the National Championship on the line. The Devils will have revenge on their minds after dropping a 24-7 decision to RIT on Day One of the Mustang Classic at Stevenson University on March 14.
In Medford, Mass., Tufts used a 7-2 first quarter to build an early lead and defeatGettysburg 17-8 to remain undefeated, winning the quarterfinal game in the 2025 NCAA Div. III men's lacrosse championship tournament. Stokes Myers was one of three players to score two goals of the Bullets, adding two ground balls.
The defeat ends Gettysburg's season with a 15-5 overall record.
