LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall's Lauren Pittman, Lane Lambeth and the Diplomat coaching staff and Gettysburg's Lily Macatee and Sarah Scolin secured major awards to lead the 2025 All-Centennial Women's Lacrosse Team.
Pittman is the first F&M player to win Attacker of the Year since Paige Moriarty in 2018. The junior ranks third in the CC in goals (58), fifth in points (80) and 13th in assists (22) entering the NCAA Tournament. Pittman helped spearhead a Diplomat attack that has scored 261 goals so far this season, which ranks second in the CC.
Lambeth repeated as Midfielder of the Year to become the first player to win the award multiple times since it was introduced in 2019. The senior has made an impact all over the field for the conference-champion Diplomats, recording 46 goals, six assists, 52 points, 34 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and 57 draw controls through the regular season and CC postseason. She ranks ninth in the CC in goals, 10th in ground balls, 15th in points and 16th in draw controls.
Macatee was voted Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in her career, with the other coming as a sophomore in 2023. Macatee joins former F&M standout Vanessa Budd (2015 & 2017) as the only players to win Defensive Player of the Year twice in the 11-year history of the honor. The senior helped spearhead a Bullet defense surrendering just 9.0 goals against per game while individually contributing 76 draw controls, 17 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls.
Scolin, a freshman midfielder for Gettysburg, was named Rookie of the Year and was the lone first-year player to earn All-Centennial accolades. Scolin has contributed 24 goals, 11 assists, 19 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers to the Bullets' efforts so far this year. She is the fifth Gettysburg player to win top rookie honors, two more than any other team in the conference.
The F&M coaching staff was selected by its peers as Coaching Staff of the Year following a perfect CC regular season and the conference tournament title. First-year head coach Renee Dowd and assistant coaches Julie Gardner and Chris Tongel have led the Diplomats to a 17-2 mark thus far this year.
Nineteen players captured All-Centennial honors for at least the second time in their careers, including three who became four-time honorees - F&M's Lydia Cassilly, Dickinson's Delaney Herbert and Gettysburg's Macatee. Cassilly secured first team honors for the fourth straight year, Macatee earned her third-straight first team honor and was also a second-teamer as a freshman, while Herbert collected back-to-back first team accolades following second team honors as a freshman and sophomore.
Historically, Franklin & Marshall (93) and Gettysburg (91) lead the conference in first-team All-Centennial selections, followed by Ursinus (36), Washington College (32), Haverford (32), Dickinson (26), Swarthmore (25), McDaniel (20), Muhlenberg (16) and Bryn Mawr (2).
