Session 3 Results
LANCASTER, Pa. -- Conference and championship meet records fell in five of the eight events during session three of the 2026 Centennial Conference swimming championships on Friday night. Johns Hopkins holds a commanding lead the men's standings with 343.5 points, while Swarthmore's 291 points lead the women's side through six events.
Swarthmore's Quinn Weygandt became just the second swimmer in CC history to four-peat in the 200 IM, breaking her own conference and championship meet records in the process. Weygandt touched the wall in 2:02.43, breaking her previous record of 2:03.38 that she set at last year's championship. The other CC swimmer to win 200 IM gold four times was Gettysburg's Liz Janelle from 2000-03.
Swarthmore's Genine Collins broke the conference 50 freestyle record for the fourth time in the past year, touching in 22.69 to break her own conference mark of 22.78 that she set earlier this season and her championship meet mark of 22.88 from last year. Collins also anchored the winning 400 medley relay for the Garnet along with Maya Ambardekar, Elle Anthony and Norah Rutkowski. The quartet finished in a conference and championship meet record time of 3:44.80, breaking the previous record of 3:45.82 set by Swarthmore at the 2024 CC meet.
Ursinus' Caelan Ladd earned the first gold of the meet for the Bears Friday's other individual event, the 500 freestyle. Ladd posted a time of 4:58.72.
On the men's side, JHU's Josiah March opened the night with a conference and meet record time of 4:28.33 in the 500 freestyle. The previous record of 4:29.30 from Brad Brooks of McDaniel had stood since 2013. The JHU 400 medley relay team of Aden Li, Larry Yu, Avery Clapp and Michael Ivanov also put together a record-breaking performance, setting new conference and meet marks at 3:14.80. That bested the prior record of 3:17.34 set by Franklin & Marshall in 2022.
Yu also claimed individual gold in the 200 IM, touching in 1:49.30.
Swarthmore's Cami Wilson also secured individual gold on the night, repeating as 50 freestyle champion with a time oof 20.03.
Championship action resumes Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
