Hopkins Men, Swarthmore Women Lead Team Standings; Eight Records Fall on Saturday Night

Session 5 Results

LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Swarthmore women and Johns Hopkins men continued to lead the team standings while eight records fell on day three of the 2026 Centennial Conference swimming championships on Saturday at Franklin & Marshall. 

On the women's side, the Garnet (561) hold a slight edge over Hopkins (542.5) heading into Sunday. On the men's side, Hopkins (653.5) maintained a commanding lead, with Swarthmore in second with 473 points and Gettysburg close behind in third with 449 points. 

Five records were broken on the men's side on Saturday night, including three from the Garnet men. The Garnet 200 freestyle relay of Cami Wilson, Danny Castle, Levi Tipton and Luke Magnuson opened the night by setting a new championship record at 1:20.31. Wilson later broke his own conference and championship records in thhe 100 butterfly at 46.91, while Castle set a new championship record in the 200 freestyle at 1:38.55. 

Gettysburg's Evan Graham touched first in the 400 IM in 3:52.45, demolishing his own championship record by nearly four seconds and besting his conference mark by nearly two seconds. JHU's Kai Henrikson-Brandt set new conference and meet standards in the 100 backstroke, finishing in 47.70. JHU's Michael Ivanov took the other gold of the evening in the 100 breaststroke at 55.43. 

On the women's side, Swarthmore's Quinn Weygandt continued her career individual medley dominance with her fourth-straight gold in the 400 IM, breaking her own championship record at 4:20.71. Weygandt is the first swimmer in Centennial history to win four golds in both the 200 IM and 400 IM. 

The Swarthmore 200 freestyle relay team of Genine Collins, Riley Bacinski, Sam Packard and Elle Anthony set new conference and championship records at 1:32.24, topping records set in 2024 and 2025 by other Garnet relays which Collins and Anthony were both a part of. 

JHU's Ken Lee won a pair of golds in the 100 butterfly (55.37) and 100 backstroke (56.01), with the 100 backstroke time setting a new championship meet record. 

Gettysburg's Mia Morreale won the 200 freestyle in 1:51.58 while Swarthmore's Cara Dominici took gold in thee 100 breaststroke at 1:03.47 to round out the first-place finishes on the night. 

Sunday's schedule for the final day of the Centennial Conference swimming championships has been altered due to the impending storm scheduled to hit the Mid-Atlantic region on Sunday and Monday. A timed finals session will take place in the morning, beginning at 8 a.m. with an expected finish time around 1 p.m. There will be no evening session. The Most Outstanding Performer awards and the team trophy presentations will take place at the end of the session, as long as time and conditions allow.
