LANCASTER, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins captured its 13th consecutive title at the 2026 Centennial Conference men's indoor track & field championship this weekend at Franklin & Marshall. The Blue Jays collected 188 points to defeat second-place Ursinus by 61 points for the team title.
Dickinson took third with 104 points, just ahead of Haverford (100). Muhlenberg finished sixth with 80 points while Gettysburg (66), Swarthmore (38), Franklin & Marshall (29) and McDaniel (8) rounded out the team scores.
Dickinson's Franklyn Akabi-During and Johns Hopkins' Sebastian Tangelson were tabbed as the Most Outstanding Performers of the championship meet, with Akabi-During securing Track Performer of the Meet honors for the second straight season after another record-breaking performance. The Dickinson sophomore repeated as champion in both the 60-meter dash (6.83) and 200-meter dash (21.71), resetting his own meet records in both events. He also anchored the conference and championship meet record 4x200 relay for the Red Devils, who finished the event in 1:28.70. Akabi-During's other gold came in the 4x400 relay.
Tangelson was named Field Performer of the Meet after a dominant showing in the heptathlon. The junior won 5 of the 7 events en route to a meet record score of 4,827 points.

A total of eight records were set throughout the weekend. Other record-setting performances came from Muhlenberg's Chris Short in the 400 (48.76, championship record), Dickinson's Tevor Richwine in the 800 (1:52.34, championship record), Ursinus' Noah Sanders in the weight throw (18.65m, conference and championship record), and the Dickinson 4x800 relay of Matthew Gareau, Amos Liles, Michael Dooley and Trevor Richwine (7:45.56, championship record).
Dickinson led the gold medal count with six, followed by Johns Hopkins (4), Haverford (3), Muhlenberg (2), Ursinus (2), F&M (1), and Gettysburg (1).
