WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Round one of the 2026 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Championship was suspended due to darkness on Saturday at Waynesboro Country Club. Three of the six competing teams (Dickinson, McDaniel, Muhlenberg) completed the round, while the remaining three teams (Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg, Marymount) will resume round one at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
A rain delay of about 1.5 hours interrupted the round, causing play to be halted due to darkness for about half of the field.
With every player through at least 14 holes, Gettysburg holds a one-shot edge over Marymount in the team standings. Gettysburg's Lucy Barton is three-over par through 14 holes, while Marymount's Tinleigh Rusher four-over par through 17 holes. Marymount's Punchy Mahathep (+4), Gettysburg's Chloe Barton (+7) and F&M's Sarah Wang (+7) round out the top five on the individual leaderboard.
After round one is completed, the final round is set to tee off Sunday at 9:36 a.m.
