LANCASTER, Pa. -- Centennial Conference weekly honors have been distributed for week three of the fall 2026 season, spanning Sept. 14-20.
Nicholas Clarke of McDaniel men's soccer earned weekly accolades for the second time this fall to lead this week's award recipients.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
Athlete of the Week
Owen Bluman, Sr., Haverford
Pittsburgh, Pa. | Taylor Allderdice
Bluman led Haverford at the Main Line Invitational, crossing the line seventh overall in 19:48.6 on the four-mile course at the Fran Rizzo Cross Country Course at Haverford. The senior was the top Division III individual finisher in a field featuring competition from all three NCAA divisions and 128 runners. Bluman’s performance helped the Fords finish as the top Division III team at the meet, behind only Division I Stony Brook and George Mason.

Athlete of the Week
Charlotte Martin, Jr., Swarthmore
Southlake, Texas | Carroll
Martin led the Garnet to a sixth-place finish at Haverford's Main Line Invitational, the top non-Division I squad at the meet. Individually, she was the top non-Division I runner, coming in 17th place overall in a field of 123 competitors. The junior ran a personal-record time of 18:17.9, which was the fastest-ever by a Swarthmore runner on the Haverford 5K course, surpassing Olivia Montini's time of 18:53.1 from 2024.

Offensive Player of the Week

Castle scored a goal in both Garnet victories last week, helping increase their win streak to four games. She opened the week by recording the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter to complete a come-from-behind 2-1 upset of No. 19 TCNJ. The rookie also found the back of the cage in Swarthmore's 5-0 triumph at Widener. Castle leads the team with four goals and eight points this season, ranking in the top-10 in the conference in both categories.
Defensive Player of the Week
Josie Sarno, Fr., GK, Swarthmore
Stow, Mass. | Phillips Academy Andover
Sarno backstopped the Garnet to two victories last week, posting 16 saves, a .941 save percentage, and a 0.50 goals against average with one shutout. The rookie tied her season-high with 10 saves, including five in the fourth quarter, to help Swarthmore to a comeback 2-1 upset of No. 19 TCNJ. Sarno followed that with six saves at Widener in a 5-0 victory, earning her second shutout of the season.

Sharp continued his strong start to the season with three goals and an assist during Haverford’s 2-0 week, helping the Fords extend their unbeaten streak to 27 consecutive matches. The sophomore scored in a 4-0 shutout of Delaware Valley on Tuesday, placing two of his four shots on goal. Sharp then delivered a five-point performance in Haverford’s Centennial Conference opener against Gettysburg, scoring twice and adding an assist in a 3-1 victory while providing the game-winning goal. Across the two victories, Sharp totaled seven points on three goals and an assist, placing five of his eight shots on target.

Clarke continued his torrid start to the season, totaling seven points with three goals and an assist in two games last week, including one goal and one assist in a 2-0 win over Washington College in the team's Centennial Conference opener. The Green Terror remained unbeaten in six games this season, including five at home. The team is now 15-4-3 at home the last three seasons. McDaniel is also unbeaten in its last four conference openers, improving to 3-0-1. Clarke leads the team and ranks second in the conference with six goals and 13 points through six games this season.
Defensive Player of the Week

Blenis anchored a defense that allowed only one goal in a 1-0-1 week, including a Centennial Conference-opening shutout of Franklin & Marshall. As the most experienced Mule on a back four that includes three players in their first year in the program, and playing in front of a goalie making the first two starts of his career, Blenis was a big reason that Muhlenberg allowed only three shots on goal in the two games, including a tie at regionally-ranked TCNJ. In the F&M game, he did well on aerial set pieces as the Mules defeated the Diplomats at home for the first time since 2013.

McDonald scored both game-winning goals in a 2-0 week for the Diplomats. McDonald's 35th-minute half-volley shot on an Amanda Nemeth assist proved the only goal needed for F&M to earn a 1-0 victory over Arcadia on Wednesday night. She also scored a header from a Grace Craig corner kick in a 3-0 win at Muhlenberg to begin Centennial Conference play on Saturday.
Defensive Player of the Week

Aird contributed to two Garnet victories last week, not allowing a goal while stopping 11 shots. The senior played a clean first half in a 5-0 win at Lancaster Bible. She finished the week with a career-high 11 saves in a 1-0 shutout of No. 17 Johns Hopkins in the conference opener. Aird made five saves in the first half and six in the second, including four in the final five minutes of play with Swarthmore nursing a one-goal lead, to pick up her third career shutout.

Diehl hit .472 and averaged 5.22 kills per set in two matches this week with 47 total kills, including the most kills by a Washington College volleyball player in the 25-point set era. On Thursday against St. Mary's (Md.), the senior hit .571 on a career-high 26 kills on just 42 hitting attempts, leading all players in finishers. Diehl is the first Shorewoman to tally 26 kills in a match since Katherine O'Brien '08 against Goucher on September 27, 2007, and the most kills in the 25-point set era which began in 2008. In Saturday's four-set victory over Rutgers-Camden, Diehl notched a match-topping 21 kills and hit .383 for the match. In the 89 attack attempts, Diehl had only five errors in the two matches.
Defensive Player of the Week
Melissa Eyer, Jr., DS/L, Swarthmore
Nampa, Idaho | Skyview
Eyer amassed 47 digs (5.88 per set) and added nine assists in a pair of wins, recording a season-high in digs in back-to-back matches. She opened with 22 digs in a 3-1 conference win versus Dickinson. The junior bested the mark with 25 digs in another four-set triumph over Vassar. She helped hold the Brewers to a .163 hitting percentage, including -.115 in the second set. Eyer also received 35 serves over the two matches, committing just one error for a .971 receiving percentage.
