LANCASTER, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins extended its indoor winning streak to 12 years in a row at the 2025 Centennial Conference men's indoor track & field championship this weekend at Franklin & Marshall. The Blue Jays tallied 175 points to defeat second-place Ursinus by 43 points for the team title.
Dickinson compiled 105 points to take third, followed by Haverford (78), Muhlenberg (62), Gettysburg (59), McDaniel (55), Swarthmore (47) and Franklin & Marshall (27).
Dickinson's Franklyn Akabi-During and McDaniel's Alex Brown were honored as the Most Outstanding Performers of the championship meet. Akabi-During burst onto the scene in his first conference championship, as the freshman won two individual events and was part of two winning relays while posting a pair of record-setting performances en route to Track Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet. Individually, Akabi-During took gold in the 60-meter dash and the 200-meter dash. The freshman set a new conference and championship meet record at 6.84 seconds during Saturday's 60 prelims, and followed that up with a time of 6.86 during Sunday's finals to claim gold. He also set a new championship record in the 200 at 22.03. Brown was named Field Most Outstanding Performer of the Meet with a victory in the high jump and seventh-place finish in the triple jump.

In addition to Akabi-During's two records, Haverford's Reza Eshghi set a new championship record in the mile with a blistering 4:08.09 in field loaded with highly-accomplished runners throughout the conference.
Dickinson led the gold medal count with seven, followed by Johns Hopkins (3), Haverford (2), McDaniel (2), Ursinus (2), F&M (1), Gettysburg (1) and Swarthmore (1).
