Rusher Repeats as Women's Golfer of the Week; F&M's Silverman Also Honored

Silverman led F&M to a win in its home invitational at Bent Creek Country Club. Silverman led wire-to-wire, firing a five-under par 66 in the opening round. The junior followed with a two-over 73 in the final round to finish atop the individual standings with an impressive 139 (-3) over the two-day event. Silverman was the only play to card a round in the 60s and won the event by six strokes.

Rusher earned repeat weekly honors after taking home another individual trophy this past Saturday at the Dickinson Spring Invitational, finishing atop the leaderboard with a score of one-under 71, the sophomore's career low round. Playing in back-to-back tournaments, Rusher also secured a sixth-place finish at the Spartan Spring Invitational with a two round score of 162 (85, 77).
