F&M Continues to Lead; McDaniel Four Shots Back

WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall maintained its lead with another under-par team score on Saturday in round two of the Centennial Conference men's golf championship at Waynesboro Country Club. The Diplomats shot a two-under 286 in round two for a 36-hole total of 568, which is the second-lowest 36-hole total in CC championship history. 

McDaniel posted the top team score on Saturday with a three-under 285 to climb within four shots of the Diplomats at 572 strokes. Dickinson is in third place at even-par 576 following a day two score of 290. Gettysburg (585), Swarthmore (597), Ursinus (641), Muhlenberg (334) and Washington College (343) round out the team scores heading into Sunday's final round. 

Patrick Kilcoyne of Gettysburg and Max Silverman of F&M are tied for the individual lead at 138, which is the second-lowest 36-hole individual score in CC championship history. Silverrman tied for the low round of the day (69) with McDaniel's Charlie Dolan, while Kilcoyne shot a two-under 70. Dolan is tied for third at 140 with Dickinson's Collin McMahon-Shea, while F&M's Oliver Clark sits in fifth place at 141 following a two-under 70 on Saturday. 

Sunday's final round begins at 7:30 a.m. The first wave will consist Washington College-Muhlenberg-Ursinus-Swarthmore-Gettysubrg second wave will feature of Dickinson-McDaniel-F&M.
