Twenty-seven individuals and one relay from the Centennial Conference have qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships from May 21-23 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in La Crosse, Wisc.
For each individual event contested, including the decathlon and heptathlon, the top 22 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 16 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition.
12 athletes from the Centennial return to the national meet as qualifiers once again in 2026, including six All-Americans and one defending national champion.
Dickinson's Trevor Richwine leads the list of returners as the defending national champion in the 800 meters. The senior has qualified in the event for four straight years, placing 17th as a freshman, fourth as a sophomore and first last spring as a junior. He enters the NCAA meet with the top time in the country at 1:47.21, a CC record.
Ursinus' Mitchell Davis is also seeded first in the pole vault with a season-best mark of 5.28 meters. Davis took home second team All-America honors last spring with a 10th-place finish.
Johns Hopkins' Emmanuel Leblond (5000m) and Connor Oiler (3000m Steeplechase) will also vie for repeat All-America awards. Leblond captured bronze in the 5000 last year and is seeded sixth in the event. Oiler placed 15th last spring and is also seeded sixth. JHU's Oluwademilade Adeniran is the other returning qualifier for CC men in the triple jump.
On the women's side, Carter Brotherton (5000m) and Erika Ezumba (hammer) will vie for repeat All-America accolades, while Emma Kothari, Adriana Catalano, Cooper Brotherton, Mackenzie Setton, Lianne Saussy and Mirra Klimov also have previous experience at the NCAA outdoor meet.
The Blue Jay 4x100 squad of Klimov, Chloe Zhang, Ellie Lewis and Dominique Thomas own the top seed in the 4x100, a CC record mark of 45.80. Ezumba is seeded second in the hammer while JHU's Claudia Ouimet is seeded third in the heptathlon.
