GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins secured back-to-back Centennial Conference men's outdoor track & field championships with a 97.5-point victory on Sunday at Gettysburg. The Blue Jays totaled 230 points to defeat second-place Ursinus (132.5) by nearly 100 points en route to their second straight and ninth overall CC crown.
Dickinson finished just behind Ursinus in third place with 132 points, followed by Gettysburg (88) and Haverford (78) in the top five.

Three championship meet records were set throughout the three-day event. Dickinson's Trevor Richwine and Gettysburg's Jack Regentin were selected as the Most Outstanding Performers of the meet. Richwine earned Most Outstanding Track Performer after winning the 800 and contributing to gold-medla 4x400 and 4x800 relays. The senior broke his own championship record in the 800 with a time of 1:48.57, claiming 800 gold for the third straight season. The 4x800 relay of Matthew Gareau, Owen Buroker, Michael Dooley and Richwine set a new meet record at 7:39.44.
Regentin won the shot put and finished second in the discus en route to Most Outstanding Field Performer accolades.

The other championship record that was established came from Muhlenberg's Chris Short in the 400 meters at 47.79.
Dickinson's Franklyn Akabi-During repeated as champion in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes, while JHU's Emmanuel Leblond (5,000m) and Oluwademilade Adeniran (triple jump) were also repeat event winners.
