LANCASTER, Pa. -- With limited action from Centennial Conference teams over the Thanksgiving holiday week, honors have been announced for the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1, 2024 in the sports of men's and women's basketball.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Kevin Nowoswiat, Jr., G, Franklin & Marshall

Nowoswiat was consistently effective last week, helping Franklin & Marshall to a 2-1 record that included wins over (RV) Saint Joseph's (Conn.) and Goucher. He averaged 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 53.4% from the field and 77.7% from the free throw line. In Tuesday's 76-57 win over Goucher, Nowoswiat totaled 20 points, hitting 8-of-13 field goals and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc to go along with six rebounds, three steals and three assists. In Saturday's 59-39 win over Saint Joseph (Conn.), a team receiving votes in the latest national rankings, he recorded a 19-point, 13-rebound double-double with four steals and two assists, shooting 7-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-6 on free throws. In Sunday's loss to No. 10 Christopher Newport, he totaled 18 points on 8-of-14 field goals with eight rebounds and one assist. Nowoswiat was named to the Christopher Newport Holiday INNvitational All-Tournament Team after helping the Diplomats to the championship game.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Athlete of the Week
Kennedy Wilburn, Sr., F, Franklin & Marshall
Marlton, N.J. | Hun School of Princeton
Wilburn led the Diplomats to a 77-63 victory over Centenary on Tuesday with a well-rounded stat line and her 12th career double-double. The senior forward recorded 19 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer while shooting 58% from the floor in the victory.
