Gettysburg and Dickinson both learned their NCAA men's lacrosse tournament draws following the NCAA selection show on Sunday night.
Gettysburg will travel to Newport News, Va., at Christopher Newport for the 2026 NCAA Division III men's lacrosse second and third rounds, beginning on Saturday. The Bullets (12-4) earned the automatic bid into the field after defeating Dickinson in the Centennial Conference (CC) championship 13-12 in overtime on Saturday night.
Gettysburg is making its 30th NCAA tournament appearance. The Bullets will take on Washington and Lee in Saturday's second-round game, scheduled for 3 p.m. The host Captains will play against the winner of Wednesday's first-round game between Pfeiffer and Transylvania in the day's first game, slated for 12 p.m. The winners will meet in Sunday's third round. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
The Bullets are 21-12 all-time against Washington and Lee, including an 11-9 win in Gettysburg on Mar. 7. Gettysburg has won three in a row against the Generals, including in last season's NCAA third round. The Orange and Blue fell to Christopher Newport 16-9 on Feb. 14 in Owings Mills.
Dickinson will begin its quest for a return trip to the national championship game this weekend in Meford, Mass. on the campus of top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Tufts.
The Red Devils will take on Middlebury (8-7) in one of two games at Bello Field on Saturday. The other matchup will feature the host Jumbos (17-1) and either Rivier (18-0) or Rhodes (12-6, who will do battle on Wednesday at Rivier for the right to play the champion.
