LANCASTER, Pa. -- All seven Centennial Conference winter sports are now in action with indoor track & field making its 2023-24 season debut this past weekend. CC weekly honors were awarded for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3, 2023 in basketball, indoor track & field, swimming and wrestling.
Several conference records fell over the weekend.
Quinn Weygandt of Swarthmore women's swimming broke two of her own conference records to earn her second weekly award of the season, while
Ethan Hart of Dickinson men's indoor track & field opened the indoor season in style with a record-breaking shot put toss.
Cami Wilson of Swarthmore men's swimming joined Weygandt as a repeat winner this week.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Vakaris Grauslys, So., G, Franklin & Marshall
Vilnius, Lithuania | West Nottingham Academy
Grauslys averaged 25.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 54% from the floor (14-for-26), 67% (4-for-6) from three-point range and 86% (19-for-22) from the free throw line in a 2-0 week for the unbeaten Diplomats. The sophomore guard opened the week by scoring 20 of his 24 points during the second half of a 65-56 road win at Gettysburg before tallying a career-high 27 points on 8-for-11 shooting in a 70-63 win at Haverford.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Clair Marion, Jr., G/F, Dickinson
Clarks Summit, Pa. | Abington Heights
Marion continued her torrid pace to begin the season with averages of 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 steals, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per contest in conference wins over Muhlenberg and Swarthmore. Marion began the week by playing all but one minute on the road at Muhlenberg, as Dickinson outscored the Mules 21-7 over the final 10 minutes en route to a 51-44 win. Marion Marion recorded her first double-double of the season in that contest with a game-high 20 points along with 10 boards, five steals, two blocks and an assist. On Saturday against Swarthmore, she notched her third-straight 20-plus point game, racking up 25 to go along with five steals, five assists, four rebounds and two blocks as the Red and White knocked off the Garnet 65-46.

MEN'S SWIMMING
Athlete of the Week
Cami Wilson, So., Swarthmore
Birmingham, Mich. | International Academy
Wilson totaled two individual wins and was a member of four relay victories in a pair of dual meet wins versus Ursinus and Salisbury. Wilson set Ware Pool records in the 50 freestyle (20.57) and 100 butterfly (49.12), while also helping break pool records as a member of the 200 freestyle relay (1:22.29), 400 medley relay (3:22.12), 200 medley relay (1:32.07) and 400 free relay (3:05.44). The sophomore's lead off in the 200 freestyle relay also set a program record in the 50 freestyle. Wilson finished as the runner-up in the 100 freestyle, which marked the only one of his seven events that he did not win. Wilson's 50 free and 100 fly times both rank among the top-30 nationally as do the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay times.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Athlete of the Week
Quinn Weygandt, So., Swarthmore
Madison, Wisc. | Madison West
Weygandt put her talents on full display as she stole the show in all of her events this weekend versus Ursinus and Salisbury. The sophomore tallied three individual wins, three NCAA B cuts, two Centennial Conference records, two program records and one Ware Pool record. She was also a member of two first place relays, which combined for one NCAA B Cut and a pool record. The sophomore took down nearly every record with a time of 4:25.38 in the 400 IM to break the conference record, school record, pool record and NCAA B Cut mark. She also beat her conference record in the 200 IM (2:03.68). Weygandt's 200 IM time ranks third on the Division III performance list while her 400 IM time is fifth.

WRESTLING
Athlete of the Week
Reid Garrison, Jr., 285, Merchant Marine
Broadway, Va. | Broadway
Garrison went a perfect 4-0 with a pair of victories over nationally-ranked opponents to claim the title at 285 at York's New Standard Corp. Invite this weekend. He had a first-period pin in his opening round match, followed by a technical fall in the third period in the quarters. In the semis, the junior defeated the sixth-ranked wrestler in the country, Peter Wersinger of TCNJ, 2-1 in two overtimes to set up a championship match against 11th-ranked Adolfo Betancur of Johnson & Wales. He narrowly beat Betancur via a 7-5 decision, to win the bracket.

Tobin highlighted the Bears at the Fasttrack Season Opener on Friday by winning the 200 meters with an Ursinus indoor school record time of 22.21. Tobin's time is the fastest in the Centennial Conference and Metro Region while also being tied for ninth in all of NCAA Division III. The time is also the fifth fastest in CC history,

Hart began his 2023-24 indoor campaign with a bang on Sunday afternoon at the Shenandoah University Holiday Kickoff Open as he reset not only his own school record, but also rewrote the Centennial Conference record book with a toss of 16.97m (55' 8.25") in the shot put to win the event. The mark eclipsed the previous conference mark of 16.40m (53' 9.75") set by Franklin & Marshall's Logan Lewis back in March of 2016.

Olivia Pyott, Jr., Gettysburg

Pyott led the Bullets in a 150.5-111.5 loss to No. 8 Johns Hopkins on Saturday with a pair of program records. Individually, she lowered the 100 breaststroke record with a victory in the event, touching first with a time of 1:04.89, which ranks 20th nationally. She was also part of the 400 medley relay that hit a NCAA B-Cut time and smashed the previous program mark by nearly two seconds, joining Natalie Wisniewski, Bramley Hawkins and Delaney Reck to win the event with a time of 3:50.98, which is currently eighth in the nation. Pyott also swam a personal-best time of 2:20.84 to finish second in the 200 breaststroke - just 0.15 seconds off the program record. Pyott's 200 breaststroke time ranks 12th in the nation and second all-time in Centennial history.
