LANCASTER, Pa. -- Marymount's Hunter Gillis, Gettysburg's Lucy Barton and the Marymount coaching staff received top honors to headline the 2024 All-Centennial Women's Golf Team. Gillis was named Player of the Year for the second time, Barton received Rookie of the Year accolades and the Marymount coaching staff was tabbed Coaching Staff of the Year. 

Gillis was selected as Player of the Year for the second time in the past three seasons (also in 2022) after winning the Centennial individual title and compiling an 80.6 scoring average through 10 events. The graduate student registered three wins this season and seven top-five placings to help the Saints to the CC team title. Gillis' honor marks the fourth straight Player of the Year honor for the Saints, and the fifth overall. She also received All-Centennial honors for the fourth time, becoming the eighth player in conference history to accomplish that feat. 

Barton was honored as Rookie of the Year following a superb freshman campaign. The Gettysburg rookie owned an 82.71 scoring average and tied for second place at the Centennial championship. Barton recorded five top-five finishes throughout the year en route to a team-leading scoring average. She is the fourth Bullet to claim the award in its 11-year history. 

The Marymount coaching staff led by head coach Rob Ferguson was selected by its peers as the Coaching Staff of the Year. Ferguson helped guide the Saints to a 15-shot victory for the CC team crown and six team titles this season. It marks the third CC coaching honor for Ferguson. 

Cabrini's Ashley Ea, the 2023 CC individual champion, earned All-Centennial honors for the third time in her career. Ea is one of 16 player in Centennial history to earn all-conference accolades at least three times.
