Bullets Reclaim CC Crown

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Led by a one-two finish from Lucy and Chloe Barton, Gettysburg secured its conference-leading 12th Centennial women's golf title on Sunday at Waynesboro Country Club. The Bullets posted a two-day score of 668 to earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. 

Marymount placed second with 689 strokes, followed by Franklin & Marshall (752), McDaniel (792), Dickinson (868), and Ursinus (910). 

Individually, Lucy Barton won medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 161 to edge twin sister Chloe Barton by two shots. The sisters were the only two players in the field to card sub-80 rounds during the tournament, with Lucy going 78-83 and Chloe carding 85-78.

This marks the second-straight top-two finishes for both Lucy and Chloe, who finished in a three-way tie for second at the 2024 championship along with Marymount's Kate Parsons. Parsons took third place this weekend with a total of 169 strokes. 

Gettysburg's Natalie Boyd (172) and Marymount's Eunice Chang (172) tied for fourth place. 

The NCAA championships are slated for May 13-16 at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
