THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg fired rounds of 340 and 337 at the NCAA Div. III women's golf championship but missed the cut. The Bullets finished with a 36-hole total of 677 to place 28th in the field of 34. The top 15 teams advanced to play the final 36 holes.

THE LEADERS
• Chloe Barton (Newton, N.J./Blair Academy) finished with a two-day score of 163, firing a round of 78 in the opening round and carded a round of 85 over a thunderstorm-interrupted second round.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Lucy Barton (Newton, N.J./Blair Academy) posted a 36-hole score of 166. She rebounded from an opening-round score of 90 to post a round of 76 over the second round that included starting her day with two birdies in the opening four holes.
• Ava Nicole Markunas (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) finished with a total score of 175, registering a round of 85 on Tuesday before finishing the championship with a round of 90.
• Anne Harrower (Glenside, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill Academy) turned in a total score of 176, firing an 87 over the first 18 and 89 over the second 18.
• Natalie Boyd (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) rounded out the Gettysburg competitors with a score of 179 (92-87).
