LANCASTER, Pa. -- Centennial Conference honors have been announced for the week of Oct. 7-13, 2024 in the sports of field hockey, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball.
A pair of goalkeepers earned weekly awards for the second time this fall to headline this week's honorees -
Charlene Basque of Bryn Mawr field hockey and
Cole White of Washington College men's soccer.

FIELD HOCKEY
Offensive Player of the Week
Sophia Hitchingham, Sr., F, Swarthmore
Yardley, Pa. | Pennsbury
Hitchingham tallied two goals and an assist in key Centennial wins over 17th-ranked Ursinus and Gettysburg last week. Hitchingham was a factor in both goals in Swarthmore's 2-1 triumph against No. 17 Ursinus, scoring the first tally of the game then setting up the game-winner in the fourth quarter. She also scored the opening goal in a 4-3 overtime win at Gettysburg.
Defensive Player of the Week
Charlene Basque, Jr., GK, Bryn Mawr
West Newbury, Mass. | Pentucket Regional
Basque posted a clean sheet in 120 minutes of work last week, shutting out Muhlenberg and Dickinson for a 2-0 week in Centennial Conference play for the Owls. Against Dickinson on Friday, Basque held the Red Devils scoreless with seven saves as the Owls held off 16 penalty corners. She also registered two stops in a 1-0 win over Muhlenberg last Wednesday. Basque ranks second in the CC in goals against average (.902) and save percentage (.796) this season.

MEN'S SOCCER
Offensive Player of the Week
Koa Kaliebe, Sr., M, Franklin & Marshall

Kaliebe scored two goals to lead F&M to a 1-0-1 week. In the 2-2 tie against Lebanon Valley, Kaliebe scored the game-tying goal in the 56th minute to keep the Diplomats unbeaten streak alive. The senior then followed up that performance with a goal in the 26th minute in the 4-2 victory over Muhlenberg. Kaliebe leads the Diplomats in both points (14) and goals (six).
Defensive Player of the Week

White earned weekly honors for the second time this fall after totaling 12 saves in a 2-0-0 week for the Shoremen. White opened the week with a career-high nine saves in a 1-0 win at No. 19 Rowan on Wednesday. He followed that up by turning away three shots in a 2-1 win at Haverford on Sunday. For the week, White posted a 0.50 goals against average and .923 save percentage with 12 saves. The Shoremen have won four straight contests.

Carleton led the Garnet with five points on two goals and one assist in a 2-0 week. She tallied four shots over the two contests, scoring on both of her shots on goal. Carleton opened the week with one goal and one assist in a 4-0 win over Bryn Mawr. She added another goal in Swarthmore's 4-0 victory against Ursinus.

Cincinnati, Ohio | Indian Hill
Isphording anchored a Johns Hopkins defense that posted a pair of shutouts last week with wins against Washington College (3-0) and Gettysburg (2-0). The Isphording-led unit allowed a total of just five shots in the two games with only one of those five on goal. The two shutouts pushed JHU's shutout streak to four games.

Enache led the Garnet with 52 kills (4.00 per set), seven service aces (0.54 per set), and 61.5 points (4.73 per set) over a 2-2 week. Enache began the week with 12 kills, a .375 hitting percentage, and two aces in a 3-0 victory at Bryn Mawr. She then posted a career-high 24 kills with 11 digs and two aces in a 3-1 win versus Baldwin Wallace to push Swarthmore's win streak to nine. Enache closed the week with 16 kills, 12 digs, and three aces over a pair of defeats to No. 2 Hope and No. 10 Millikin. Enache was the team leader in kills in three of the four matches.
Defensive Player of the Week
Coco Shultz, Jr., OH, Franklin & Marshall
Glenmore, Pa. | Bishop Shanahan
Shultz led F&M to a 2-0 week with 16 digs and was a perfect 17-for-17 in serve receptions during wins against Dickinson and Bryn Mawr. Those wins improved the Diplomats to 15-3 on the year, including a perfect 4-0 record in Centennial Conference play. In addition to her strong defensive play, Shultz averaged 4.2 points per set with a team-leading 19 kills while registering a .333 hitting percentage. The F&M captain added two block assists and one service ace on the week.
