LANCASTER, Pa. – Defending champion Marymount narrowly edged Gettysburg for the top spot in the 2025 Centennial Conference Women's Golf Preseason Poll. The Saints collected four first-place votes and 34 points to land atop the vote of CC head coaches.
The Bullets secured the other three first-place votes and 33 points to earn second place in the rankings. Franklin & Marshall was projected to finish third with 26 points, followed by Dickinson (19), McDaniel (18), Ursinus (9) and Muhlenberg (8).
Most CC teams will open the spring portion of their seasons in late March. The 2025 Centennial Championship returns to Waynesboro Country Club in Waynesboro, Pa. on April 26-27.

Marymount climbed back atop the conference last spring with its third Centennial title in the past four years last spring at Waynesboro Country Club in Waynesboro, Pa. The Saints totaled 656 strokes, the second-best team total in CC championship history.
Gettysburg took second place at 671 strokes, followed by Franklin & Marshall (746), Dickinson (799) and McDaniel (813) in the top five. Centennial women's golf will feature seven teams this season as opposed to the eight in recent years, as former associate member Cabrini has closed its doors.
At the NCAA Championship, Marymount placed 25th with a 36-hole total of 676 strokes at Keene Run Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
Six All-Centennial performers are back on the course this spring. Marymount's Kate Parsons is the lone two-time all-conference honoree returner in the conference, while teammate Noelle Jensen was both the Player and Rookie of the Year in 2023. Peyton Kraras, the 2021 CC Rookie of the Year, is also back for the Saints.
The Gettysburg trio of Lucy Barton, Chloe Barton and Ava Nicole Markunas return as all-conference players for the Bullets. Lucy and Chloe earned All-Centennial honors last spring, with Lucy also garnering Rookie of the Year accolades. Markunas was an All-CC performer in 2023.
Marymount owns the top team scoring average heading into the spring at 318.1 through seven rounds, followed by Gettysburg (331.5 through 6 rounds) and F&M (358.5 through 6 rounds).
