LANCASTER, Pa. -- Centennial Conference winter sports are back in full swing with basketball, swimming, indoor track & field and wrestling teams all competing last week.
Several two-time weekly award winners highlight this week's honorees -
Vakaris Grauslys of Franklin & Marshall men's basketball,

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Vakaris Grauslys, So., G, Franklin & Marshall
Vilnius, Lithuania | West Nottingham Academy
Grauslys earned weekly honors for the second time this season after averaging 19.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 66% from the field in a 3-0 week for the Diplomats. Grauslys opened the week with 19 points on 7-for-9 (78%) shooting with two steals in an 88-67 win over Muhlenberg before tallying 16 points, four assists, four rebounds and a season-high three triples vs. Washington College. The sophomore guard then closed out the week with a team-high 24 points on 7-for-11 (64%) shooting from the floor and 10-for-11 (91%) shooting from the charity stripe along with three assists and three boards in a 70-55 win over Swarthmore.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Player of the Week
Clair Marion, Jr., G/F, Dickinson

Marion collected her second weekly award of the 2023-24 campaign with averages of 17.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals per contest in a 3-0 week for the Red Devils. In Tuesday's 63-44 win over Bryn Mawr, the junior notched a well-rounded stat line of 13 points, five assists, four boards and two steals. Two days later, Marion racked up 26 points and 10 rebounds to go along with five helpers and three steals as the Red and White downed Ursinus in impressive fashion, 73-43. Marion then rounded out the week with 14 points, two steals, one board and one assist as Dickinson knocked off Washington College 55-38 to remain unbeaten at home.

MEN'S SWIMMING
Athlete of the Week
Charlie Cross, Sr., Gettysburg

Cross secured his second weekly award of the year after leading the Bullets in their first action of 2024. On Monday against Scranton, he won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.44 and the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.54. He was also part of the 200 free relay that finished second, just 0.55 seconds behind Gettysburg's A relay. On Saturday, Cross was third in both the 100 and 200 freestyles.

WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Athlete of the Week
Tori May, So., Dickinson
Dover, Del. | Caesar Rodney
May won all four of her races in a pair of dual meets against local foe Messiah. At home on Friday, her time of 18:44.09 won the 1650-yard freestyle. She then toppled the competition during the 200 backstroke by getting to the wall in 2:11.40. Then, less than 24 hours later she claimed her first victory in the 400 individual medley clocking in at 4:51.60, before besting the field in the 500 freestyle at 5:25.70. On the weekend she was the highest scoring athlete across the two meets, racking up an impressive 36 points.

WRESTLING
Athlete of the Week
Jaedyn Harris, Sr., 197, McDaniel
Gaithersburg, Md. | Gaithersburg
Harris was named to the All-Tournament Team after posting a perfect 5-0 record at the Budd Whitehill National Duals hosted by Lycoming. Ranked eighth nationally, he posted five wins in five matches with three decisions, one tech fall and one major decision. His most impressive win came against Wilkes, where he downed the sixth-ranked wrestler in the nation by a 4-1 decision. Harris also topped a regionally-ranked opponent from Stevens by a 2-1 decision. All-Tournament Team honors are awarded at each weight to the undefeated wrestler that earned the most team points per match in at least three matches, not including wins by default, injury default or disqualification.

Track Athlete of the Week
Tyren Proctor, Sr., McDaniel
Westminster, Md. | North Point
Proctor set a new school and conference record in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles of the Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational hosted by Shenandoah on Sunday with a mark of 8.25 seconds. It is currently the 13th-best mark nationally and broke his previous record of 8.30 that he set at the 2023 Centennial indoor championship. He went on to finish first in the final with a time of 8.30 seconds.
Field Athlete of the Week
Chett Brunner, Sr., McDaniel
Sykesville, Md. | Century
Brunner placed second in shot put at the Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational hosted by Shenandoah on Sunday with a throw of 15.22 meters. The mark is currently the 25th-best in Division III this season.

WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD
Track Athlete of the Week
Lauren Phillips, Jr., Johns Hopkins
Mount Laurel, N.J. | Moorestown Friends School
Phillips secured weekly honors for the second time this winter after posting top-25 national marks in the 60 and 200 meters at the TCNJ Invitational. Phillips raced to a third-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.70, which leads the Centennial and ranks 11th nationally. The junior followed that up with a second third-place finish in the 200-meter sprint, claiming the top spot among DIII runners with a time of 25:68. That time is currently atop the CC and 23rd in DIII.
Field Athlete of the Week
Elizabeth Agyei, Jr., Swarthmore
Newark, N.J. | Solebury
Agyei posted the sixth-best weight throw in conference history over the weekend at the TCNJ Invitational. The junior posted a mark of 14.57 meters, which leads the Centennial this indoor season and resulted in a fifth-place finish at the meet.
